The Halloween Hoopla is History

The party came and went and so did a smidge of my sanity. Keeping eight four-year-olds happy, entertained, well-fed and stimulated is not an easy trick nor a treat. But all in all, I think it went well. For future reference, the favourite party game was pass the pumpkin (like musical chairs only passing a pumpkin around to music) and icing pumpkin cookies. A splash of wine to lubricate my patience started the night, and when the last door closed on a fuzzy lion and Spiderman, Supermom was glad the Halloween hooplas was now history.

How many more days ’til Christmas?
